Born and raised in Southern California, I obtained my B.A. in History from University of California, Irvine, and M.A in Social and Cultural Analysis of Education from California State University, Long Beach. I have worked with children and youth since I was in high school, allowing me over 15 years of experience as a mentor, teacher, and educational program administrator for K-12 and college students. As a storyteller at heart, I previously worked as a Creative Developer for children’s books, and also have a passion for learning about different cultures and languages. Other than English I can speak Arabic and Korean, and being a language learner has led me to teach English as a Second Language to adults. I look forward to working alongside all of you in supporting our students through their unique educational journeys!
