About Ustadh Adam Jamal:

Ustadh Adam Jamal is the head instructor of Bayyinah’s Dream program. He was born and raised in Houston, TX and began his study of Islam at the age of 16 in Darul Uloom, Blackburn, UK where he was at the top of his class. After two years in the UK he moved to France and attended IESH, an institution for the study of Arabic and Islam. It was at IESH that he completed a BA and obtained Ijazaat in Shariah. Later he studied privately with teachers in Egypt, UK, and US. After completing his studies he worked in various positions as an Islamic studies schoolteacher, an imam, and finally as a teacher of the subject he loves most: Arabic! Ustadh Adam joined Bayyinah in 2013 and recently completed his Master’s in Education. Outside of Dream, Quran, and Arabic, he enjoys learning about new technology, teaching methods, business practices, and training for that marathon he will run someday.
