Sr. Saba – 3rd Grade Teacher / Middle School Islamic Studies Teacher

Sr. Saba brings a diverse background in education, Islamic studies, and community leadership. She holds a Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, and Accounting and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Marketing, and Finance. Her professional experience includes teaching Social Studies, History, and Economics.

Her passion for Islamic education is reflected in her extensive experience working with Muslim children and families. Sr. Saba has served as a teacher with Muslim Children of North America (MCNA) for eight years, helping children develop Islamic awareness, leadership skills, confidence, and a strong connection to their faith. She has also taught and mentored children through the Islamic Society of Greater Valley Forge (ISGVF), focusing on Quranic learning, character development, and moral and ethical values.

Sr. Saba has completed advanced studies in Fehm-ul-Quran and holds Ijazah in Noorani Qaida and Quran Recitation. Her commitment to serving the Muslim community has also led her to leadership roles with ICNA Sisters Greater Philadelphia, where she has helped organize educational programs, halaqas, Ramadan and Eid programs, family initiatives, and community outreach.

As an educator, Sr. Saba believes that every child has unique talents and potential. She strives to create a warm, engaging, and nurturing environment where children feel confident, supported, and inspired to learn, while developing a strong Islamic identity and the character and values that will guide them throughout their lives, inshaAllah.
