Sr. Ayesha Sharif brings over 24 years of experience teaching in Islamic school settings, with a special passion for educating young children. She holds an Ijazah in Al-Qaida Al-Nooraniah from Sheikh Mohammad Farooq Al-Raee of Al-Furqan Center in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and an Ijazah in Hafs Qira’at (complete Quran recitation) from Sheikh Uthman Khan of Jazariyyah College in Toronto, Canada.

Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics and a Diploma in Child Development, Early Childhood, and Child Psychology from the College of Home Economics at Punjab University in Lahore, Pakistan. She has also completed extensive studies in Tajweed, Quran, Islamic Education, and Makharij, including programs in Pakistan and Egypt.

Sr. Ayesha has taught Quran, Arabic, and Islamic Studies across numerous Islamic schools and community programs in Pakistan, Virginia, Texas, and Pennsylvania. Her experience includes teaching at Iqra Academy of Virginia, ILM Academy, Everest Academy, Villanova Academy for Honor Studies, and several local Quran and Hifdh programs. She has also conducted Al-Qaida Al-Nooraniah workshops for teachers and continues to share her Quranic knowledge with students worldwide through Al-Huda International.

As an educator, Sr. Ayesha believes that teaching Quran is about more than imparting knowledge—it is about planting a love for Allah and His words in the hearts of children. She is passionate about helping young Muslims develop a strong connection to the Quran, their faith, and their Islamic identity. She believes that when children are nurtured with knowledge, love, and guidance, they can grow into confident Muslims who positively impact their families and communities.
