Sr. Nabila Baqai – Quran/Arabic Teacher Aid

Quran & Tajweed | Islamic Studies | 30+ Years of Teaching Experience

Sr. Nabila Baqai brings more than 30 years of teaching experience to her work at IQRA, where she serves as a part-time Quran teacher and full-time After-School Academy teacher. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Pakistan and has dedicated many years to teaching and nurturing students in both academic and Islamic settings.

Her passion for Quranic education is reflected in her extensive Islamic studies. Sr. Nabila completed Taleem-ul-Quran through AlHuda, studying Tajweed, Tafseer, and Quranic translation, and has completed additional Islamic Studies courses through ICNA Sisters. She has taught Quran and Tajweed privately and at ISGVF Sunday School, helping students develop both their knowledge and connection to the Quran.

Sr. Nabila has also devoted many years to serving and strengthening the Muslim community through leadership. She served as East Region President of ICNA Sisters for four years and led the Treasury Department for several years. She has also served as an editor for Noor Magazine, contributing to the sharing of beneficial Islamic knowledge within the community.

As an educator, Sr. Nabila believes in creating a warm and encouraging environment where children can learn, grow, and develop a love for the Quran and their faith. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve the students and families of IQRA and to support them in developing the knowledge, character, and strong Islamic identity that will guide them throughout their lives, inshaAllah.
