Sr Valda Abdullah

As a highly dedicated Teacher, My thirty-one years of teaching experience is in alignment with the qualifications aligned from achieving numerous educational certifications and educational degrees.  I hold PA certifications in the areas of Elementary and Special Education, English 7-12 and highly qualified to teach History, Psychology and Sociology. I am certain I can make a valuable contribution to your organization.

My educational studies include attending Temple University, Rosemont College, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and St Joseph’s University. My degrees are in the areas of Education, Educational Research and School Psychology. In addition, I studied and received certification in Restorative Practices.

I bring many years of teaching experience, while implementing diverse skills from various certifications in the classroom. I am adept in designing instructional and behavior programs, transitions services, and developing parent-teacher relations. More-over, my on the job experiences has helped me develop a well- rounded skill set and a passion for educating children. I am extremely enthusiastic about working with IQRA’s education focus of providing well rounded academics and Islamic education for students and welcome the opportunity to contribute to such an inexhaustible endeavor.
